Grammy Winning Singer Natalie Cole dies aged 65

Grammy winning musician and daughter of music legend Nat King Cole has died. 

The singer had scheduled events on her calendar for the Christmas/New Year season but canceled them due to illness. She passed away at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in California.

She is survived by her son Robert Yancy and sisters Timolin and Casey Cole.
