Rolls-Royce Dawn Inspired By Fashion Revealed

This new special Rolls Royce Dawn model comes with a pretty self-explanatory ‘Inspired by Fashion’ title. Dawn Inspired By Fashion integrates timeless style with the spontaneous energy of high-contrast color, to make the boldest of statements.

Part of the so-called ‘Spring/Summer 2017 Couture collection’, the bespoke Dawn has been created by a team of designers from the world of fashion, fine textiles and luxury accessories, under the guidance of Design Director Giles Taylor. 

It features an ‘Andalucian White’ exterior described as a neutral canvas with three bright color choices for the roof, exterior details and hand-painted coachline, along the car’s sides mirror the colour of the roof. 

Subtle accents of these colors garnish interior aspects of each Dawn, whilst the “Silent Ballet” of the roof as it rises to provide shelter from the paparazzo’s lens unleashes a brushstroke of color to catch the style-spotter’s eye.

Inside, there’s a white and black exterior scheme with accents of one of the three colours that match the roof. Embroidered headrests and contrasting hand-stitched leather trim also feature. The front and rear door pockets are also appointed in silk, with a Spirit of Ecstasy emblem on each door. 

Rolls-Royce’s designers have dressed the car’s front and rear door pockets in fine silks, adorned with an abstract representation of the Spirit of Ecstasy with each emblem set precisely at 55 degrees to complement the lines of the door.

The legendary Rolls-Royce craftsmanship and attention-to-detail is apparent through the exquisite dashboard created in Piano White with aluminium particles resulting in a silk-like appearance, with the lacquering process alone taking nine days of meticulous work. 

This is completed elegantly with the integration of a Bespoke clock, set as a piece of jewellery, styled exclusively to emit a silver on silver effect, evoking the metallic fabrics seen on this year’s catwalks in preparation for next year’s season.

Rolls Royce will begin taking orders for the new Dawn ‘Inspired by Fashion’ this November.
